Fallout Looming In United Opposition As Top Principal Announces This Ahead Of Polls
Cracks has continued to widen in united opposition as top principals in the camp take different positions amid the escalating disagreement with Rigathi Gachagua. Amid the rising tensions in the opposition, a number of allies have directed their disappointments to former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua over bullying in the camp.
The latest is Justin Muturi who has indirectly attacked DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua by claiming no one owns the opposition. “No one owns the united opposition,” JB Muturi said.
The former attorney general said insisted that political partnership must be build on mutual respect and not ultimatums, political bullying and supremacy contests that is happening in the opposition. For along time Rigathi Gachagua has been accused of positioning himself as the centre of everything in the opposition and practicing political bullying towards some members. With this continued conflicts, there are high chances that the camp will divide into two with some remaining on the side of Gachagua and others forming new camp or even join the government that could be advantageous to President Ruto’s re-election.
