“This Idiot Was Funded by Politicians, Now He Has Wings &Thinks Anaweza Kutubebea Ufala” Alai say
Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has sparked fresh political debate after launching a scathing attack on a person identified as Namu over his recent criticism of President William Ruto.
Alai questioned the individual’s motives, suggesting that his sudden interest in presenting himself as a defender of morality was connected to a wider political agenda targeting the Head of State.
In a statement shared on Sunday, November 1, Alai claimed that Namu had previously received financial support from politicians.
He questioned why the same individual was now positioning himself as a custodian of moral values, arguing that his change of stance raised questions about the intentions behind his public statements.
Alai further alleged that there was a serious ethnic-driven campaign aimed at removing Ruto from power.
According to him, some individuals were using public criticism and moral arguments to advance a political agenda against the President.
However, he did not provide evidence in his post to substantiate the allegations.
The MCA did not stop there. He ended his statement with the Swahili words, “Namu, wacha kutubebea ufala,” expressing his frustration with what he considered an attempt to mislead Kenyans.
His choice of language added a personal edge to the exchange, making his criticism even more noticeable among political observers.
The latest remarks come as political divisions continue to emerge ahead of the 2027 General Election, with leaders and commentators taking different positions on Ruto’s administration.
Alai’s intervention has added another dimension to the debate, particularly over political loyalty, public accountability and the motives behind criticism of the government. Whether Namu will respond to the allegations remains to be seen.
