I DON’T KNOW WHAT KIND OF UPBRINGING THAT SHAPES CHILDREN TO BECOME SO EVIL — Sarkodie Mourns Death of Javits Frimpong, Urges Black Parents to Do Better
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has expressed his condolences to the family of the late Javits Frimpong, describing his death as heartbreaking while calling for greater attention to parenting and the values instilled in children.
In a statement, Sarkodie said that although Ghana and other African countries face several challenges, he takes pride in the upbringing of children in communities where murder remains an unusual occurrence that attracts widespread shock and public attention.
He contrasted this with what he described as the apparent frequency of such incidents in some parts of the Western world, saying it raises concerns about the safety of Black people living abroad.
The rapper also urged Black parents, particularly those living abroad, to do more to instil good values in their children.
He concluded by praying for Javits’ soul to rest in peace and sending love, prayers, and strength to his parents and the entire family.
