Construction Begins In Disputed Property Belonging To Moi’s Family In Eldoret After GSU Occupied It
The news reaching our desk is that construction has already begun in the disputed property near State Lodge owned by the family of the late Daniel Moi, who has already moved to court. The land was forcibly occupied by GSU officers who chased away all those occupying the land without any notice, and began guarding the land and denying anybody any access without offering any explanation.
The current situation in the disputed parcel of land is that construction workers have already been deployed, and trenches have already been dug to pave the way for construction. This is a clear indication that there was interest from those in government, since the security agencies are still guarding the premises on a daily basis without fail. The outspoken former Senator of Baringo, Gideon Moi, has already moved to court seeking an explanation why the government deployed security agencies on their private piece of land without informing them.
The construction that has just begun is yet to take shape, and this might intensify the war between Gideon Moi and President William Samoei Arap Ruto. Please leave your thoughts in our comments section below as you share our article.
