“Why Are You Acting Like You’re Giving Nigerians Free Power Stations?”- De Peters Tackles VeryDarkMan
Content creator De Peters has called out social media activist VeryDarkMan over his power station business, questioning why he presents the venture as though he is doing Nigerians a favour.
De Peters, who expressed his concerns about the activist’s marketing approach, argued that VeryDarkMan is also running a business to make money, just like other influencers he frequently criticises for promoting commercial products.
“VeryDarkMan, why are you acting as if you’re bringing these power stations to Nigerians for free? Are you not selling them to make money like every other businessman?
“You’ve made countless videos marketing this power station, presenting it as though you’re doing Nigerians a huge favour by bringing a solution to the country.
“You criticise other influencers for marketing crypto platforms, betting platforms and what you consider irrelevant products, while presenting your own power station business as a solution to Nigeria.
“But you’re not the first person selling power stations in Nigeria. Many businesses were already selling them before you came along.
“Even the power stations you’re selling, there are other businessmen offering the same quality, same KVA capacity and specifications at much cheaper prices.
“At the end of the day, you’re also marketing a product to make money. So why present yourself as though you’re doing Nigerians a favour?”
