Fuel Prices Change Again as Star Oil Announces New Rates Effective Saturday, October 31, 2026

Star Oil Ghana has announced new fuel prices for its customers, with the revised rates taking effect on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

The company announced the adjustment in a notice to its customers, popularly known as StarSavers, explaining that the new prices reflect changes in the international fuel market.

Under the revised pricing, Super petrol has been reduced by 10 pesewas, bringing the price from GH₵16.45 to GH₵16.35 per litre. This means motorists who purchase Super petrol will enjoy a slight reduction in their fuel expenses.

However, diesel has recorded an increase of 50 pesewas per litre, moving from GH₵17.95 to GH₵18.45. The increase could affect commercial drivers, transport operators and businesses that depend heavily on diesel for their daily operations.

Meanwhile, the price of RON 95 remains unchanged at GH₵19.47 per litre. Customers who purchase this type of fuel will therefore continue to pay the same amount under the new pricing arrangement.

The latest adjustment presents a mixed situation for motorists, as some fuel users will experience a reduction while others will have to pay more. The changes also highlight how developments in the international petroleum market can influence fuel prices in Ghana.

Star Oil Ghana has encouraged its customers to take note of the revised prices before visiting its filling stations. The company also expressed appreciation to its customers for their continued trust and patronage.

Customers seeking further information or wishing to make complaints can contact the company through its hotlines, 055 144 4511 and 055 144 4522. They can also use the toll-free number 0800-800-700 or send an email to customercomplaints@staroil.live.

The new prices are expected to guide purchases at Star Oil stations from the stated effective time.
