Leaders Who Have Failed Not To Attend Sifuna Linda Mwanaichi Party Headquarters Launch

Linda Mwananchi Movement party leader Edwin Sifuna has attracted widespread attention following the launch of his party’s first headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.

The high-profile event brought together several prominent opposition leaders, including DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and DAP-Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa.

The presence of the opposition figures is seen as a major boost to Sifuna and his political movement, signalling growing cooperation and unity among opposition leaders ahead of the 2027 General Election.

However, some notable opposition figures were absent from the event. Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, for instance, did not attend as he was reportedly engaged in a People’s Party meeting at Kawasaki Stadium in Nairobi.

Siaya Governor James Aggrey Orengo was also missing from the launch because he is currently in South Korea attending an official state function. However, he reportedly sent an apology letter and a representative to attend the ceremony on his behalf.
