A Form Four candidate at St Augustine Kamolo Secondary School, in Teso North, has died after reportedly suffering from a severe headache that lasted only one day.

Bridgit Atyang, who hailed from Akapijan Village in Gara, near the Malaba border, was expected to begin her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations on Monday, November 2.

Her sudden death has left her family, classmates, teachers and the entire school community in deep sorrow, coming just days before she was due to sit her final secondary school examinations.
