Tinubu’s N70,000 transport subsidy will be ineffective – Rufai Oseni

Arise Television’s Morning Show anchor, Rufai Oseni has criticised the Federal Government’s announced N70,000 transport subsidy for workers, saying the intervention would be insufficient to cover commuting costs for government employees living on the mainland and working on Lagos Island.Oseni said the inadequacy of the proposed subsidy became apparent after a member of staff at his studio told him he spent about N7, 000 daily on transportation.
