The new line-up, Starter at KSh 750, Select at KSh 1,500, Sports at KSh 3,000, and Ultimate at KSh 7,300, was unveiled on X under the Swahili slogan "Tumewaskiza", meaning "we have listened".

Under the new structure, equivalent sports content sits in the Sports package at KSh 3,000, a reduction of KSh 4,300.
Family package customers will pay KSh 1,500 instead of KSh 2,250, while those on the old Access package will see a marginal increase of KSh 50 under the new Select tier.

The sports package represents the most significant structural change.
The new dedicated sports tier addresses that directly.
The Ultimate package, at the top of the range, adds Formula 1, rugby, tennis, MotoGP, and golf alongside full entertainment programming across more than 180 channels.
The restructuring is partly a consequence of DStv's deteriorating position in Kenya.
The changes also reflect the influence of Canal+, the French media group that acquired MultiChoice in a deal valued at approximately KSh 390 billion.
South Africa adopted a similar simplified structure in September 2026, while Nigeria followed in October.
