Kiambu Hotel Owner Cries After Customers Leave Over Politics

A businesswoman in Kiambu is very sad after customers stopped coming to her hotel.

In a video online, the woman is seen inside her empty hotel. Many tables have unsold food like chapati, pilau, rice, and meat. No customers are there.

She says the problem started after she said she supports President William Ruto. She used the word “Tutam”, which means she wants Ruto to serve two terms.

She said, “In this Kenya, we have no freedom of speech. I only said Tutam and customers rejected my food. Where will I take all this food? I had no bad intention.”

She is worried because all the food she cooked will go bad. She is now begging people to come and eat for free before it spoils.

She also went outside to show that no customers are coming. She says she is sorry if she offended anyone and that she only shared her own opinion.

The video has caused a lot of talk online. Some people feel sorry for her, but others say they will also boycott businesses that support Tutam.https://www.facebook.com/100067867727102/posts/1496015532670690/?app=fbl
