Ofori sealed the important win in the 92nd minute at the Estádio José Gomes, capitalising on a loose ball in midfield before finding the back of the net with Estrela Amadora goalkeeper Leo Linck out of position.

The late strike capped an impressive away performance by Casa Pia, who took control of the contest through João Rego’s first-half opener before the Ghanaian midfielder added the second goal to confirm all three points.

Rego broke the deadlock in the 31st minute after carrying the ball forward from midfield and calmly finishing past Linck to give the visitors a deserved lead.

Casa Pia went into the half-time break with a 1-0 advantage, but Estrela Amadora attempted to respond after the restart, pushing forward in search of an equaliser.

However, the hosts struggled to break down Casa Pia’s defensive organisation, while goalkeeper Patrick Sequeira produced important saves to preserve his side’s advantage.

As Estrela Amadora searched for a way back into the match, Casa Pia remained disciplined and waited for opportunities to extend their lead.

Their patience paid off in stoppage time when Ofori found the net in the 92nd minute, putting the result beyond doubt and securing a valuable victory for the visitors.

The goal was another important contribution from the Ghanaian midfielder, who has continued to feature for Casa Pia in Portugal’s top-flight competition.

Ofori has now recorded one goal and one assist in nine league appearances this season, underlining his growing contribution to the team’s campaign.

The victory represents a significant boost for Casa Pia as they seek to move further away from the relegation zone and improve their position in the Primeira Liga standings.

The result also gives the team renewed confidence as the league campaign progresses, with Ofori’s late goal providing a decisive finish to an important away performance.
