Madlanga Commission applies for in-camera hearing for Feroz Khan-linked evidence
This is to hold a private hearing for the head of the National Intelligence Coordinating Committee, Ntandazo Sifolo.
Sifolo is due to present information that has been declassified solely for commissioners.
The information would be interwoven through his testimony, causing the entirety of his hearing to be held in camera.
Media houses say this goes against the Commission’s mandate of open justice for public accountability.
Their advocate, Ben Winks, suggested Sifolo should stipulate why certain information about the state entity cannot be shared.
