ECG to embark on nationwide meter audit exercise

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says it will soon begin a nationwide meter audit exercise to reduce commercial losses, improve revenue assurance and combat electricity theft.The exercise will cover all ECG operational areas and involve the inspection and verification of prepaid and postpaid meters, Special Load Tariff (SLT) installations and associated wiring.
