Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has spoken after meeting the Linda Mwananchi leadership, led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, at his Wamunyoro residence in Nyeri County.
In a message shared after the meeting, Gachagua said the leaders had held candid and constructive discussions on the liberation of the country and the formation of the Sixth Administration.
“Upon my return from the United States, I welcomed the Linda Mwananchi leadership, led by Senator Edwin Sifuna, to the Wamunyoro residence,” Gachagua stated.
He noted that their discussions had focused on the country’s future, highlighting the importance of consultations among leaders as they consider the direction Kenya should take.
Gachagua also reflected on the historical significance of his Wamunyoro residence, describing it as a place where important political consultations and deliberations have taken place over the years.
According to the former Deputy President, such engagements have played a role in shaping discussions about a brighter future for the country.
“Wamunyoro has long been a venue for consequential political consultations and deliberations that have helped shape a brighter future for our great country,” he said.
Gachagua concluded his message by describing the latest meeting as another significant day at the residence.
The meeting brought together Gachagua and the Linda Mwananchi leadership at a time when political leaders have continued to engage on the country’s leadership and future direction.
