Adunni Ade Breaks Silence After Mother’s Death, Shares Emotional Tribute

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has announced the death of her mother, who passed away after a prolonged battle with illness.

According to a report by PUNCH on Monday, October 19, 2026, the actress made the announcement through her official Instagram page, where she shared pictures of her late mother alongside an emotional message mourning her loss.

Adunni expressed her grief while praying for the peaceful repose of her mother’s soul and asking Allah to grant her eternal rest.

In her tribute, the actress said her mother returned to her Creator after struggling with a long-term illness.

She wrote that the loss had left her heartbroken but reaffirmed her submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

The actress also prayed that Allah would forgive her mother’s shortcomings, show her mercy, make her grave spacious and filled with light, and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus.

Adunni further sought divine strength and patience for the family as they navigate the difficult period.

According to the actress, her late mother is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters and other loved ones who will continue to cherish the memories they shared with her.

Paying a personal tribute to her mother, Adunni wrote, “Mum, I love you. May Allah grant you eternal peace and reunite us in Jannah. Ameen.”
