Diddy’s Prison Hospital Trip Was Caused By a Bunk Bed, Source Says
Sean “Diddy” Combs (Prince Williams / Getty Images) More details have emerged about Bad Boy Records Founder Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent trip to the hospital.
Multiple reports confirmed that the disgraced music mogul was rushed out of New Jersey’s Fort Dix Prison to a local hospital on Sunday (October 11). For what was deemed a “medical emergency.” And now the reason for his hospital visit has been uncovered.
According to a Tuesday (October 13) report from New York Post’s Page Six, Combs suffered a head injury. He hit his head on a bunk bed in the facility. One source told the outlet that the mogul “smacked his head on the bunk above him” and added that “he’s doing much better now.”
Diddy recently found himself in even more hot water. An NBC News report detailed allegations that Diddy experienced a “pampered” lifestyle in federeal lock-up. One that included possessing a contraband cell phone, illegally obtaining liquor from prison guards, receiving deep-tissue massages, and paying other inmates to cook, clean, and do his laundry.
However, a rep for Combs has denied the allegations against him.
“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” the spokesperson said (via NBC News). “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
The Bad Boy Records founder has been in prison since September 2024. The feds swept Combs up on a slew of charges. These included trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. The music mogul was able to evade the more serious charges of trafficking and prostitution. Still, he was hit with a 50-month Prison sentence as a result of his conviction on the prostitution charges. He has since made multiple attempts to be released from jail.
