If you’ve ever dreamed of living inside a Jane Austen novel, one viral Airbnb listing should be added to your travel wish list immediately.

This grand Dorset Manor, nicknamed the King Russell House, looks like it was plucked straight out of Austen’s books, with its romantic architecture, baroque-style arched windows, and sweeping gardens that feel primed for frolicking.

While the estate has no material connection to the author, it does play a role in the latest film adaptation of her most beloved classic, “Sense & Sensibility” — serving as the setting for the fictional Dashwood family home, Norland Park.

And for under $300 USD, it can be your place of stay for several nights — or more specifically, the south wing can be, as it’s currently accepting bookings via Airbnb.

Listed as South Wing of a Grade 1 Listed Manor House, this popular Airbnb features a private entrance with two bedrooms, two baths, free parking, Wifi, hot water, and more modern amenities — all available via the backdrop of an historic English manor, which was built in 1679 and restored in 1913.

It currently requires a 2-night minimum stay, but has availability for guests as early as next week and through November; as of publishing, the Airbnb’s rate rounds out at about $250 USD per night.

The 17th century Grade 1 listed manor feels as untouched on the inside as it does on the outside. Its interior features state rooms that are wrapped in early 19th century hand painted chinoiserie wallpaper, with antique furnishings styled throughout.

A grand oak staircase serves as the centerpiece of the wing, leading guests to two en-suite double bedrooms, with a charming kitchenette tucked just underneath it. Historic arched windows offer sweeping views of the estate, while the property’s towering private terrace provides an airy escape to take in the home’s nearly six acres of formal gardens — complete with ancient trees and daffodils.

Throughout your stay, you can curl up inside with a book and hot tea, galavant through the lush English countryside surrounding the home, or venture out to explore the pristine Jurassic coast — where you’ll find local shops, markets, and pubs.

Norland Park is the fictional home of the Dashwood family, who is the central family within Austen’s “Sense & Sensibility” novel. While the manor within the literature isn’t real, the estate Georgia Oakley’s 2026 “Sense & Sensibility” was filmed at, is very real.

Known as the King Russell House, this is among the most picturesque filming locations in “Sense & Sensibility” — which releases in US theaters Friday, Oct. 16.
