FC Barcelona announce squad for Champions League match against Galatasaray

According to a report by Barca Blaugranes on Tuesday October 13, 2026, Barcelona have announced a 22-man squad for their UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray on Tuesday, with Hansi Flick still without captain Raphinha.

The Brazilian winger has been ruled out with a minor muscle problem, while Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji are also unavailable because of injuries.

Frenkie de Jong has returned to training after recovering from a knee problem but is yet to receive medical clearance and has not been included in the squad.

Barcelona will nevertheless have several key players available for the difficult trip to Turkey, including Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Gavi, Dani Olmo, João Cancelo and Jules Koundé.

Goalkeepers: Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny, Dominik Livakovic.

Defenders: João Cancelo, Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsí, Xavi Espart, Gerard Martín, Jules Koundé, Eric Garcia.

Midfielders: Brian Farinãs, Gavi, Fermín López, Pedri, Rodri, Dani Olmo, Marc Bernal.

Forwards: Gabriel Jesus, Lamine Yamal, Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, Hamza Abdelkarim.

Flick is expected to rely on Yamal’s creativity and the attacking contributions of Gabriel Jesus and Anthony Gordon as Barcelona look to secure a positive result away from home.

The Catalan side will face a challenging atmosphere at Galatasaray’s home ground, where the Turkish club’s passionate supporters are expected to make the encounter difficult.

Barcelona will hope their available attacking options can compensate for Raphinha’s absence as they continue their Champions League campaign.
