I Watched Amaechi When He Had A Meeting In Cross River, I Counted And People Weren’t Up To 200- Wike

The former governor of Rivers state and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has criticized the vice presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rotimi Amaechi.

This statement was contained in a video that was posted on the official X handle of Channels TV on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

This is coming after the FCT Minister held a media chat in Abuja.

In the post that surfaced online, Nyesom Wike stated that the ADC presidential ticket is not popular in the country. He said the people who attended a town hall meeting that was organized by ADC in Cross River state were not up to 200.

The FCT Minister stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election.
