“Come Out Or We Come For You” Matiangi Told As Kenyans Endorse Him For This Post Ahead Of 2027

As the nation prepares for the general elections of 2027, a Kenyan woman going by the name of Naomi Waithira has now told former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi to come out of wherever he is.

In a seemingly directive tweet sent by opposition blogger Pauline Njoroge, the elderly man begged Matiangi to come forward, stating that Kenyans would need him to be president in 2027. If the former Cabinet Secretary does not come out, she threatened Kenyans to choose him.

“Matiangi you either come out or we come for you. We need you for President 2027 na sio tafadhali.” The tweet read

In response to Pauline Njoroge’s tweet, a few Kenyans said that Fred Matiangi was a capable leader whose contributions to Kenya’s interior and education ministries will never be equaled by cabinet secretaries in the current administration.

The whereabouts of the former minister, who vanished in 2023 after government agents searched his residence in Karen, Nairobi, were also questioned by some Kenyans.
