A video shared by social media personality D English Alhaji has sparked concern after a man claiming to be a serving Nigerian police officer expressed frustration over the economic hardship in the country.

In the video, the man appealed directly to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the difficulties he was experiencing had left him feeling overwhelmed.

“I’m already contemplating su!c!de. I know the consequences of making this video, and that it is an offence, but I have no option other than to speak out publicly and appeal to President Tinubu,” the man said.

The alleged police officer explained that he understood the possible consequences of speaking publicly about his situation but felt compelled to make his concerns known.
