Roman Reigns: Video Games Have Been A Positive Replacement For Some Of The Other Extracurricular Activities Wrestlers Would Do

Roman Reigns discusses how video games have become popular in wrestling locker rooms in recent years to replace other activities.

Pro wrestlers in the modern era have many ways of killing time outside of the ring, but one of the methods that has come to the forefront for a lot of the current generation of talent is an affinity for video games, with several wrestlers also livestreaming their gaming escapades across the industry, with several video game superfans being known to fans.

While speaking to ExtraTV in a new interview on the red carpet for Street Fighter, Roman Reigns was asked about he and the WWE locker room’s gamer contingent, with Reigns noting that it is a positive replacement for the extracurricular activities wrestlers would partake in in the past.

“I’m not very good at it nowadays. But yes, that has been a positive replacement for some of the other extracurricular activities wrestlers would do. The video games have definitely allowed the guys to stay in and not go and explore the towns too much. But yeah, it’s a huge thing in our locker room for sure.”

Roman is currently set to return to Monday Night RAW on next week’s edition of the program. You can read more about that here.
