Report of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Terrified’ Staff Resurfaces After Her Bird Drama as Sources Reveal the Real Reason She Canceled Her Show

Since then, the shop and Clarkson have traded messages on social media. Art of Play claimed Clarkson wanted to buy an automated singing bird that wasn’t for sale, but the “Since U Been Gone” singer quickly called the store a “liar.” In response, Art of Play said Clarkson was only in the shop for five minutes before storming out.

The show ended in August 2026, giving the three-time Grammy winner more time to spend with her family. Since then, the nearly 100-person staff has been “scrambling for jobs in an increasingly brutal market.”

Clarkson often called the staff her “family,” but other insiders noted that her love for her crew won’t help them put food on their tables. “Where is the help for the people who spent seven years helping make her show a success?” another source wondered, adding, “Everyone is terrified.”
