American actor Tobey Maguire has shown that being an ex does not have to mean being enemies after officiating the wedding of his former wife, celebrity jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, to billionaire heir, Geoff Ogunlesi.

The Spider-Man star reportedly took centre stage at the couple’s wedding ceremony held at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, where Meyer exchanged vows with her new husband.

Photographs from the event showed Tobey smiling as he read from a piece of paper while the newlyweds shared a kiss surrounded by flowers.

The ceremony also attracted several high-profile guests, including Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti; Amazon founder Jeff Bezos; actress Courteney Cox; and fashion stylist Rachel Zoe.

Tobey and Jennifer’s two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, were also present and participated in the celebration. Ruby equally shared a photo of herself posing with a young man during the festivities.

The former couple got married in 2007 but separated in 2016. Jennifer subsequently filed for divorce in October 2020, bringing their marriage to an official end after years apart.

Despite their separation, the pair appear to have maintained an amicable relationship, with reports indicating that they finalised their divorce last month.

Tobey’s decision to officiate his ex-wife’s wedding has since drawn attention, with the actor taking an unusual role in a major milestone in her new relationship.

While many former couples struggle to remain on friendly terms after a breakup, Tobey and Jennifer’s latest family gathering suggests they have continued to maintain a cordial relationship for themselves and their children.
