Anmol alias Pinky seeks acquittal in CTD narcotics case
Anmol alias Pinky has filed an application seeking acquittal in a narcotics case registered against her at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station, arguing that there is insufficient evidence to support the charges.
The application was filed under Section 265-K of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). The sessions court has issued a notice to the Deputy Public Prosecutor and sought the prosecution’s response at the next hearing.
Defence counsel Mir Hidayatullah argued that no solid evidence was available against the accused and requested her acquittal. He also informed the court that Anmol had already been acquitted in three drug-related cases registered at Gizri Police Station.

Meanwhile, two alleged facilitators of Anmol in the case have reportedly gone into hiding after securing bail.
In August, the Additional District and Sessions Court (South) acquitted Anmol in three narcotics cases registered at Gizri Police Station in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
According to her defence counsel, Anmol had been declared a fugitive in all three cases. The lawyer argued that she had been nominated on the basis of statements allegedly recorded by co-accused Ali and Fahmida, who were acquitted in 2024.
The defence maintained that the acquittal of the co-accused weakened the prosecution’s case against Anmol. The court subsequently acquitted her in the three cases, observing that the prosecution had failed to present sufficient evidence against her.
