According to WFMJ, 28-year-old Kevin Hawk was arrested and charged after he allegedly pulled up to the drive-thru window of a McDonald's in Warren, Ohio, at around 1 a.m. and began threatening employees.

When speaking to law enforcement, an employee said she was working at the drive-thru when Hawk allegedly pulled up to the window with a fire extinguisher. After asking what he wanted, the employee said Hawk demanded $40 from her, then threatened to shoot up the restaurant if she didn't hand over the money.

The employee alleged that Hawk appeared to be holding something in his hoodie to make it appear as though he had a gun, per WFMJ. The McDonald's employees told authorities that they asked Hawk to leave the property, but the suspect allegedly lunged through the drive-thru window with the fire extinguisher in an attempt to wedge it through the window. The employees were able to wrestle it away from him.

While investigating the incident, authorities said they determined that Hawk had allegedly broken through the glass door of a nearby Dollar General and stolen the fire extinguisher before heading over to McDonald's.

Documents reviewed by WFMJ reportedly indicate that Hawk is alleged to have broken into a car that was parked at a nearby Aldi. Authorities said an employee was doing inventory at the Aldi when he came out to find his car window had been smashed with cement bricks and that his wallet had been stolen from inside.

When police located Hawk, they reportedly found the wallet inside his hoodie.

Hawk was arrested and charged with the following, according to WFMJ:

The report states he will appear in court for a preliminary hearing on October 13.
