Charly Boy Seeks Prayers for Wife After Major Surgery

Veteran Nigerian singer and entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has appealed to his fans to pray for his wife as she recovers from a major surgery.

The entertainer shared a video of his wife on his X page, revealing that she underwent the procedure two days earlier. According to him, she has already started getting back on her feet but still needs to relearn how to walk.

Offering her words of encouragement, Charly Boy urged his wife to be patient with herself and appreciate every improvement she makes during her recovery.

He also praised her strength and reminded her that she did not have to go through the process without allowing herself time to rest.

He expressed confidence that she would regain her ability to walk comfortably and encouraged his followers to send her their good wishes.

In his message, the singer reflected on his wife’s resilience, noting that she had stood by him despite his unconventional personality. He reassured her of his support and encouraged her to take her recovery one step at a time.

Meanwhile, Charly Boy has previously spoken openly about his nearly five-decade marriage to Diane Oputa.

During an interview with Uriel Oputa on Pulse, the entertainer admitted that being married to the same person for so many years could sometimes feel repetitive.

He also revealed that he had been married four or five times before meeting Diane, adding that his experiences had changed his perspective on relationships.

The singer further stated that he did not believe love alone was enough to sustain a marriage.
