Soldier-turned-UFC fighter Tim Kennedy shot three times as 20 killed or wounded after private military group ambushed
FORMER UFC middleweight and U.S. Army soldier Tim Kennedy was shot multiple times during a private contracting gig in the Congo.The former Green Beret was, according to Reuters, part of an operations team recruited by Vectus Global for a job in the conflict-riddled African country.Vectus Global, which was founded by the owner of private military contractor Blackwater, Erik Prince, were said to be “working on an operation to protect mining revenues, combat smuggling and collect taxes for the Congolese government.”
