‘Only 2.4% Of Nigerian Workers Earn Above ₦200,000 Monthly’- Nedu Wazobia Urges Nigerians To Get PVCs And Vote Wisely
Media personality Nedu Wazobia has expressed concern over the rising cost of living in Nigeria, questioning how much an average person needs to earn monthly to survive in the current economic situation.
Nedu raised the issue while highlighting the struggles many Nigerians face with increasing food and transportation costs, healthcare expenses and insecurity.
He also referenced a widely circulated figure indicating that only about 2.4 per cent of Nigerians earn more than ₦200,000 monthly. The figure comes from the Nigerian Financial Services Market Report covering 2023, rather than a newly conducted survey.
The media personality encouraged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and make informed choices at the polls, stressing the importance of voting wisely.
