Titus Chukwuemeka has recounted how he pleaded with suspected kidnappers not to shoot his brother after discovering that they had captured and tied his hands during their journey from Abuja to Enugu.
Speaking during an interview on Lucky Udu Experience on Friday, October 9, 2026, Chukwuemeka narrated how he turned around and discovered that the attackers had already seized his brother, forcing him to approach them and plead for his brother’s life.
According to him, he had to speak Hausa with the kidnappers in an attempt to communicate with them and prevent them from shooting his brother.
He said, “I turned amd I saw that they were already holding my brother. In fact they tied my brother rope on his hand and I had to stop and speak Hausa with them. I said ‘please don’t shoot him, he’s my brother.'”
Chukwuemeka’s account describes the frightening moment he realised that his brother was in the hands of armed men and had to appeal directly to them to spare his life.
The incident occurred during a journey from Abuja to Enugu, which reportedly turned into a kidnapping ordeal after the attackers opened fire and seized the brothers. The kidnappers subsequently demanded N50 million in ransom, according to the account provided.
