Daily power demand rises to 290 MU in Andhra Pradesh, says Energy Minister Ravi Kumar

Apart from increasing power generation by AP-Genco, additional electricity is being procured through other sources to ensure uninterrupted supply, he saysAndhra Pradesh’s daily electricity requirement has increased from 265 MU to 290 MU, says Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar.The Minister, along with MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, inaugurated a 132/33 kV AP-Transco substation constructed at a cost of ₹44.25 crore at Kothapatnam in Ongole Assembly constituency on Thursday.
