Saleng Shares Update On His Double-Storey House Nine Months After Joining Sundowns

Pirates are back to defend their crown and Sundowns want to crash the party. The 2026 MTN8 final is locked in for Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, October 10, and it’s going to be absolutely massive.

Kick-off is at 18h00 and this matchup has serious history. These two giants clashed in the 2023 final too, so there’s already bad blood on the pitch. Pirates are the defending champions and they’re hungry for a fifth straight MTN8 title, which would be absolutely ridiculous if they pull it off. Sundowns aren’t coming to make up the numbers though. They want to add another trophy to their collection and prove they’re still the team to beat in this competition.

The Premier Soccer League finally confirmed that Durban’s Moses Mabhida will host the final, ending all the speculation about where this thing would go down. The stadium is going to be packed. Both clubs have massive support bases across the country, so expect the atmosphere to be electric.

If you want to be there, General Access tickets are R150 each and online sales through OpenTickets kick off at 10h00 on Friday, October 2. There’s a four-ticket limit per person, so don’t sleep on it when the sales go live. Fans are going to be moving fast.

In other news, Sundowns midfielder Monnapule Saleng has been giving his Instagram followers updates on his double-storey home that’s currently under construction. The property is looking solid with recent progress shots showing the build coming along nicely.

With everything sorted, both teams can now focus completely on their prep work.

Which team do you think walks away with the MTN8 trophy this year, and are you planning to be at Moses Mabhida to witness it live?
