Details Emerge Of Messages Late Wicknell Chivayo Allegedly Sent Tanzanian Socialite Poshy Queen

Tanzanian socialite Poshy Queen has sparked attention online after revealing how she responded to an alleged dating request from late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

Poshy shared screenshots of their private direct messages, showing that she did not entertain the businessman’s advances.

She explained that she was already committed to her boyfriend and was not prepared to abandon her relationship because of another man’s wealth.

The socialite maintained that money and a lavish lifestyle were not enough to change her decision.

She reportedly pointed to Chivayo’s extravagant lifestyle, including his access to helicopters and private jets, while making it clear that such luxuries could not persuade her to leave her partner.

Her revelation has generated discussion among social media users, with some praising her for standing by her relationship and refusing to be influenced by financial status.

Poshy’s decision also comes against the backdrop of Chivayo’s highly publicised lifestyle.

The Zimbabwean businessman frequently displayed his wealth online and was known for his close relationships with prominent political and business figures across Africa.

Chivayo, however, died before the latest revelation could generate wider public reaction.

He and his wife, Lucy Muteke, were killed on September 30 when their private helicopter crashed in the Marondera area, east of Harare. Authorities said there were no survivors.

The fatal crash shocked Zimbabwe and attracted widespread condolences from across the continent.

President William Ruto was among the leaders who mourned Chivayo, describing him as a dear friend whose warmth, energy and belief in Africa had touched many people.

Chivayo and Muteke are expected to be laid to rest at Glen Forest Cemetery in Harare on October 8, following preparations by their families.
