The management of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) has paid a working visit to Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL), one of Jamaica’s largest and most prominent companies.

The delegation was led by the Authority’s Board Chairman and Technical Advisor to the Minister of Finance, Frederick Amissah, and included the Acting Director-General of the NLA, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, as well as a Board Member, Nana Obrempong Ameyaw Amponsem.

The visit, facilitated by Supreme Ventures Limited, aimed to strengthen international collaboration and explore strategic partnership opportunities between the two institutions. The NLA delegation was hosted by the Jamaican Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Hon. Delano Seiveright, alongside the leadership of SVL.

Discussions focused on business-to-business partnerships, market expansion opportunities, digital innovation, and investment-driven growth, with the objective of fostering sustainable development and mutual benefits for both organisations.

Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Delano Seiveright said, “It was an absolute honour to meet the officials of the Ghana National Lottery Authority, where we had detailed discussions about the purpose of their visit to Jamaica. We are very keen on continuing to build the Jamaica–Ghana connection, and I commend Supreme Ventures for its active participation in Ghana’s lottery industry. We want to see more of that as we continue to grow.”

Frederick Amissah, Board Chairman of the NLA, expressed gratitude to the SVL team for facilitating the visit and underscored the importance of deepening bilateral ties.

“We are hoping to take the Ghana–Jamaica relationship a step further by establishing historical and business-to-business linkages that will help move both nations forward,” he stated.

The engagement highlights growing interest in strengthening international partnerships and knowledge exchange between Ghana and Jamaica.

Following the productive discussions and high-level engagements, the visit is expected to lay a strong foundation for future collaboration that will drive innovation, attract investment, and promote mutual development.
