I Have Not Seen One Peter Obi Billboard In The FCT And My Son Recorded It Himself On Monday — Shield

The head of mission of the Leadership and Accountability Initiative, Henry Shield, has exposed how the FCT has been flooded with only Tinubu billboards, insisting not one Peter Obi billboard exists in the territory.

Speaking on SYMFONI, Shield said he recorded the road from city gate to the airport twice and found only Bola Tinubu on every billboard.

He said outdoor advertising practitioners were threatened by the government and now reject opposition business, asking how such a situation can be called a democracy.

In Shield’s words: “I took my daughter to school two Saturdays ago. From my house to the airport, I only saw APC and Tinubu’s banners and billboards by the road. When I was coming back, it was the same thing. The following Monday I took my son to the airport, and he did the recording himself. It was only Bola Tinubu from city gate to the airport. I found out that this government threatened outdoor practitioners, because you know these are private businessmen. They will not take any billboard from the opposition. Look around the FCT, have you seen one Peter Obi billboard? No. One Atiku? No. How do we call this a democracy?”
