“You Can’t Force Someone To Make It In Life”- Peller Weighs In On Crayon And Rema’s Rift

Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller has weighed in on the ongoing discussion surrounding singer Crayon’s complaints about not receiving support from fellow musician Rema.

In a statement, Peller suggested that people should understand that helping someone does not automatically guarantee their success, stressing that everyone has their own time to make it in life.

Sharing his personal experience, the streamer revealed that he once brought a childhood friend to Lagos, bought him a phone, provided accommodation and encouraged him to create content on TikTok. However, despite the support and opportunities he provided, his friend did not become successful.

“Crayon is dragging Rema for not helping him, but people fail to understand, you can’t help someone to make it in life if it isn’t their time to make it yet. I brought my childhood friend to Lagos, bought him a phone, gave him accommodation and asked him to hustle on TikTok but he still didn’t make it.”

His comments come amid conversations about Crayon’s expectations of support from Rema and the responsibilities successful people have towards those around them.
