Stunning Images Of Murkomen and His Wife Gladys Wanjiru at Charlene Ruto’s Wedding in Tanzania

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and his wife, Gladys Wanjiru, attracted attention after attending Charlene Ruto’s wedding in Tanzania. The couple joined President William Ruto’s family and several prominent guests for the celebrations held in Mwanza on Friday, November 6, 2026. Photographs from the ceremony showed the two arriving together in coordinated outfits.

Murkomen chose a patterned maroon and gold shirt, which he paired with white trousers and a fashionable hat. His wife wore a floor-length emerald teal gown that complemented the occasion’s formal atmosphere. One widely shared photograph captured them walking together against a scenic Lake Victoria background.

The wedding brought together political leaders and other invited guests from Kenya and Tanzania. President William Ruto attended alongside First Lady Rachel Ruto, while National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula also joined the celebrations. Other notable attendees included Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Health CS Aden Duale and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo were also among the Kenyan politicians present. Their attendance attracted interest because the guest list included leaders from different political backgrounds. Images shared from the event showed several public figures celebrating alongside the President’s family.

Charlene married Tanzanian entrepreneur Isaya Yunge at Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza. The white wedding followed a traditional Kalenjin Koito ceremony held on August 8, 2026, at the Ruto family’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.

As photographs from the wedding circulated online, attention extended beyond the newlyweds to the invited guests. Murkomen and Wanjiru’s appearance became one of the moments discussed by Kenyans following the celebrations. Their choice of outfits and lakeside photographs added to the public interest surrounding the high-profile family occasion.
