Shettima, Seyi Tinubu, Okpebholo Make Grand Entry into APC Presidential Rally in Port Harcourt

According to report by The Nation on Saturday, November 7, 2026, Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally scheduled to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

The rally is part of the APC’s ongoing efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Several prominent members of the ruling party have also arrived in Port Harcourt to participate in the campaign gathering.

Among those sighted in the Rivers State capital were Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Other APC chieftains, including former Rivers State Senator Magnus Abe, were also reported to be in the city ahead of the event.

Their presence highlights the participation of influential party figures in the presidential campaign activities as the APC seeks to strengthen its political support across the country.

The Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium is expected to host party leaders, supporters and other political stakeholders attending the rally.

Shettima’s arrival at the venue’s host city comes amid growing political activities by major political parties preparing for the 2027 general election.

The APC has been intensifying its campaign mobilisation efforts, bringing together its leaders and supporters in different parts of the country to promote Tinubu’s second-term ambition.

The Rivers rally is expected to provide another opportunity for the party’s national leadership to engage supporters and showcase its political strength in the South-South region.

The development also comes against the backdrop of Rivers State’s strategic importance in Nigeria’s political calculations, particularly because of its electoral influence in the South-South geopolitical zone.

Further details of the rally, including speeches and other major activities, are expected to emerge as the event progresses.
