President Bola Tinubu Hugs Governor Fubara at APC Presidential Campaign Rally in Rivers [Photos]

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu shared a warm embrace with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, during the APC South-South Presidential Campaign Rally held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to a media post by Governor Fubara on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the governor expressed his appreciation for the President’s visit and acknowledged his support, fatherly intervention and commitment to the peace, stability and development of Rivers State.

Fubara said the people of Rivers State had not forgotten President Tinubu’s support during the state’s most challenging moments, particularly his interventions towards addressing the political crisis and restoring stability.

He further expressed the readiness of the Rivers State Government and its people to stand firmly with the President as he seeks a renewed mandate in the 2027 presidential election.

The governor also reaffirmed his commitment to working towards building a peaceful, stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

He concluded by declaring the support of Rivers State for President Tinubu, stating that the state remains firmly behind him as the country approaches the 2027 general election.
