ODM Top Ally Says Goodbye To The Party Joining This Party Ahead Of The 2027 Polls

This is the time when politicians are dumping their political parties for others in preparation for the 2027 general elections. President Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has been a big victim of the mass exodus after losing top allies to rival parties including Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).

However, the Orange party has not been spared as it has seen its key members cross to the other side, either UDA, DCP or other political parties. The recent has seen Teso North Member of Parliament Edward Oku Kaunya dump the party for Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) party.

The now MDG deputy party leader has insisted that he has left ODM for the new party that is led by Ugenya Member of Parliament David Ochieng. The legislator has put it clear following rumours that he is still in ODM, something that has forced him to issue a clear message about leaving the camp.
