NDC Don’t Even Have A Flagbearer, Yet You Keep Taling About Winning The 2028 Election – K. Botchway

According to a report by GHOne TV today being Saturday, November 7, 2026, Kwesi Botchway Jnr., Esq., the Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has questioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over its confidence in winning the 2028 general elections despite not having selected a presidential candidate.

Botchway Jnr. criticised members of the governing NDC for repeatedly expressing confidence about securing victory in the next elections when the party has yet to settle on an individual to lead its presidential campaign.

According to him, it is premature for the NDC to consistently speak about winning the 2028 elections when the process of choosing its flagbearer has not been completed.

His comments appear to challenge the confidence being expressed by some NDC members and supporters regarding the party’s chances of retaining political power in the next general election.

The NPP Deputy National Communications Director suggested that the NDC should first concentrate on resolving its internal leadership arrangements before making strong declarations about its electoral prospects.

The selection of a flagbearer is an important process for political parties, as the individual chosen becomes the face of the party’s presidential campaign and plays a central role in presenting its policies and vision to voters.
