First Daughter Charlene Ruto has made her first public appearance following her white wedding in Tanzania, sharing details of a special gift she prepared for guests who attended the ceremony.Charlene stepped out on Saturday dressed in a yellow outfit and used the occasion to explain the thought behind wedding souvenirs she selected for her guests.

In a social media post, she revealed that she settled on honey as a gift because she wanted those who attended the celebration to remember how much their presence meant to her.

According to Charlene, the honey was sourced from her bee farms in Kenya before being transported to Tanzania for distribution during wedding celebrations.

She explained that the idea was inspired by her desire to share something that represented the sweetness of her home country with friends and family who joined her for the special occasion.

However, the First Daughter disclosed that the honey she had carried from Kenya was not enough to cater for all the guests.

She was therefore forced to purchase additional supplies from Mwanza town, an experience she said gave her an opportunity to support a local honey producer in Tanzania.Charlene expressed happiness that the guests got to enjoy honey from both Kenya and Tanzania, describing the gesture as a way of sharing the sweetness of the two neighbouring countries.

Her post offered a glimpse into the personal thought that went into preparing for the wedding, beyond the ceremony and celebrations.
