Bobrisky Describes Nigeria as Toxic Environment After Relocating Abroad

Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has described Nigeria as a toxic environment, saying relocating abroad nearly two years ago was one of the best decisions he has made.

According to a report published by Daily Post on November 7, 2026, the social media personality made the remarks in a recent post in which she reflected on the changes in her life since leaving the country. Linda Ikeji’s Blog also reported the statement on the same day, quoting Bobrisky’s comments about finding peace away from Nigeria.

Bobrisky said her former environment was characterised by frequent arguments, gossip and unnecessary drama. She explained that staying away from such situations had brought her greater peace and satisfaction.

“Every day, it’s one fight, drama, or gossip after another. Leaving that space has brought me so much peace,” she said.

She also expressed satisfaction with her appearance and general well-being, claiming that she had never looked prettier, happier or more refreshed.

In another part of her message, Bobrisky promised to protect the peaceful life she said she now enjoys abroad. She maintained that she would not allow anyone or anything to interfere with her happiness.

“I promise myself that I will never allow anyone or anything to take this beautiful peace away from me,” she wrote.

Bobrisky left Nigeria in November 2024 following a period of public controversy and legal issues. Her departure came months after she served a six-month prison sentence for abusing the naira.

Her latest comments have renewed conversations about her relocation and the contrast she draws between her former life in Nigeria and her experience abroad.

However, Bobrisky did not identify the country where she currently lives in the statement. Her remarks focused mainly on the personal peace and happiness she says she has found since leaving Nigeria.
