Delta: Reactions As Large Crowd Troops Out To Campaign For Obi After Thugs Disrupted Rally In Asaba

There have been several reactions from social media users after large crowd trooped out to campaign for the former governor of Anambra state and presidential candidate of NDC, Peter Obi is Delta state.

This was contained in a video that was posted on the official X handle of Chris Iyovwaye, the NDC governorship candidate in Delta state on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

This is coming after some thugs attacked members of the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement during a rally in Asaba, Delta state.

In the video that surfaced online, the NDC governorship candidate appreciated the people for their support. He said they won’t be intimidated.

Here is what Chris Iyovwaye wrote on his official X handle;

“Deltans deserve the freedom to choose their leaders without threats or violence. We will remain peaceful, stand with our people”.
