Tension Brews as Prominent Figure Vows to Reveal Ruto’s Secrets Unless He Is Killed First

Fresh political tension has emerged around President William Ruto after Nyali MP Mohamed Ali, popularly known as Jicho Pevu, made a strong statement suggesting that he knows sensitive information about the Head of State.

In a message that has attracted attention, Ali declared that he knows many secrets about Ruto and promised to reveal them one day.

“Mimi najua siri mingi za Ruto. Siku moja Lazima nitasema na mkitaka kuniuwa mniuwe kabla sijasema kwa sababu lazima nitasema,” he said.

His remarks could attract further political attention as leaders continue taking positions ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Ali was among the politicians who supported Ruto during the 2022 presidential campaigns. However, his relationship with the ruling political camp has come under scrutiny following his recent criticism of the administration.

The Nyali MP has previously raised concerns about government decisions and spoken against controversial security directives.

He also criticised the handling of UDA’s Coast politics, raising questions about his political future ahead of the next elections.

His latest remarks come at a time when Ruto is facing growing criticism from several former allies who have openly questioned his leadership and government policies.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, People’s Party leader Ndindi Nyoro and other politicians have also positioned themselves differently as political groups prepare for the 2027 contest.

With political alliances changing, Ali’s statement is likely to attract interest, particularly because of his background in investigative journalism before joining politics.

However, he has not publicly detailed the alleged secrets or provided evidence to support the claims in the quoted remarks.

It remains to be seen whether he will eventually reveal the information he says he possesses and what impact it could have on the country’s political scene.
