Her post has attracted considerable attention, particularly because it comes amid a separate fraud complaint involving the Sbusha Trust and an alleged property transaction.

In her statement, MaMkhize explained that she had remained silent for years out of respect for Mpisane and their son.

“As if that was not enough, you were left with all of this despite never having worked for it,” she wrote.

In a separate section of her Instagram statement, MaMkhize said she had first learned about the alleged criminal investigation through Mashego’s correspondence.

She maintained that she could not comment on matters that had not formally been brought to her attention or on ongoing legal proceedings.

The businesswoman also strongly disputed the allegations, describing them as being without basis.

Her response suggests that she intends to handle the matter through the appropriate channels rather than discuss the details publicly.
