Fred Matiang’i Reacts After The Death of Gachagua’s Sister

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has sent a condolence message to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua following the death of his eldest sister, Eunice Nyangari Gachagua, aged 77.

In his message, Matiang’i described Rigathi Gachagua as a brother and colleague, acknowledging the pain caused by the loss of a family member. He noted that Eunice had been a mother figure, a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom to the Gachagua family.

On behalf of the Jubilee Party and himself, Fred Matiang’i extended his sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly Eunice’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gachagua announced his sister’s death on Friday, November 6, revealing that she passed away in Naro Moru. He described her as a warm and joyful soul who took care of the family following their mother’s death seven years ago.

Gachagua said the family would deeply miss her wisdom, warmth and guidance.
