The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Mauritanian referee Moussa Diou to officiate Ghana’s first-leg U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
Diou will take charge of the encounter, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya.
He will be assisted by compatriots Hamedine Diba and Abderrahmane Anne as first and second assistant referees respectively, while Abdel Kader M’Bareck has been named as the fourth official.
Algerian Djamel Ould Ammar will serve as Match Commissioner, with Tunisia’s Said Mohamed Kordi appointed as Referee Assessor.
The match will kick off at 19:00 GMT (17:00 local time) at the Benina Martyrs Stadium, which has an artificial turf playing surface.
The Black Meteors will be seeking a positive result away from home to strengthen their chances of progressing in the qualifying tie.
The return leg is scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, where Ghana will have the opportunity to secure qualification in front of their home supporters.
