Sadly,It’s Disgraceful To See The Death Of A Ghanaian Boy In USA Being Dragged Into Politics—Bongo
According to a Post on Bongo Ideas official facebook account on Tuesday, November 3,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Bongo Ideas has taken a swipe at political commentators engaging in partisan arguments over the death of 15-year-old Ghanaian boy Javits Frimpong in the United States, urging Ghanaians to prioritise compassion and the pursuit of justice.
In a Facebook post, Bongo Ideas described the politicisation of the teenager’s death as disgraceful, arguing that the tragedy should not become an opportunity for political parties and their supporters to score points against one another.
He noted that the boy’s mother was still mourning the loss of her son, making it inappropriate for individuals to turn the incident into an NPP-versus-NDC controversy.
The social commentator acknowledged former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for extending condolences to the bereaved family, saying the gesture reflected the compassion the situation deserved.
However, he expressed frustration with what he described as unnecessary political arguments from some commentators, particularly taking a swipe at political commentator Koka over his contributions to the controversy.
Bongo Ideas insisted that the central concern should be the circumstances surrounding Javits Frimpong’s death and the need to pursue justice rather than engaging in partisan exchanges.
He also called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to take the concerns surrounding the incident seriously, emphasising that the death of a 15-year-old should not be treated as a political talking point.
According to him, the family deserves sympathy and meaningful concern from the public instead of being caught up in political disagreements at a time of grief.
